One of our associates, Victor Paul Borg, is an expert in international tourism. He has accrued considerable experience and knowledge about the international tourism trade, with a special focus on Asia. He has produced consultancy reports for tourist businesses who wanted to develop new products, and he has written detailed analyses about tourism development for some of the most eminent tourism trade publications in the world, such as the magazine of the Pacific Asia Tourism Association. He’s an eminent expert in nature tourism; he has a deep understanding of nature and ecology and environmental issues accrued through his formal university studies in ecology and veterinary science, and his activism in environmental NGOs. Like to travel to China independently but your plan keeps hitting snags? China is not an easy place to travel to independently due to the language barrier, and it’s much harder to plan an independent trip from outside the country. Additionally, the country is so huge and varied that international guidebooks only scratch the surface in their coverage. And if you attempt to plan everything yourself from home you’ll end up spending more money than you need to – we can help, and it will save you a lot of hassle and you would end up paying the same even after you absorb our fees. If you’re travelling independently, we can help you prepare an itinerary based on your interests, identifying the best places to see; we can ensure that the itinerary works in terms of transport connections between the different points of focus of the itinerary. We can also give you information on transport connections (trains, buses, planes), hotels in the area where you will travel (what standard of hotels), and we could even do all the bookings for you: we can purchase your domestic and international flights, we can book you rooms in hotels, and so on. All this info would be accurate and reliable and up to date (unlike info in guidebooks, which tends to be outdated due to the long span between research and publishing and updating; or info online, most of which is also unreliable). If you use the full service (itinerary planning and consultancy, booking of hotels and flights, and written guide to the places you would visit), we have very attractive prices. And we can promise you that we can get your flights and hotels either the same price, or cheaper in many cases, than you can get them yourself. It will save you time and hassle, make your trip more rewarding and smooth, and it will cost you the same or only marginally more than if you had to do everything yourself. Custom Publishing & Marketing

Very often, guidebooks or brochures or other publicity materials published in China, particularly western China, are colourful and good when it comes to the choice of pictures, but then are skimpy and uninspiring in their prose. Moreover, the English prose is often inelegant and unpolished, and full of Chinese idioms translated literally, without making much sense to a non-Chinese reader. These publicity materials also tend to lack practicalities such as maps, addresses, phone numbers, and so on. We do bilingual custom publishing that corrects all these shortcomings: we work by writing the English text first, and then doing the Chinese translation second – we have found that starting from the English leads to better bilingual prose than the other way round.
