Our routes in Libya – as elsewhere – run along rarely-visited circuits, particularly in the Sahara Desert, the largest and most spectacular desert on earth that has its geographic heart in Libya. We’re talking about a massive terrain that is wildly and bleakly beautiful: we travel in the desert in convoys of jeeps, exploring the lost world depicted in prehistoric rock art, in a place that seems like a different planet in its outlandishness. However, while the primary destinations where we operate are found in the desert, we can also include in your itinerary – if you so wish – some of Libya’s other celebrated sights, such as the Berber town of Ghadames, the Roman and Greek ruins, and Tripoli, a felicitous city with charming Middle Eastern bustle and cuisine.
