We don’t sell tours through the normal channels of using general travel agents: we sell directly through this website and via specialised channels (this could be selling special-interest tours through associations). If you feel you share our passion for nature and culture travel, whether you’re an individual or whether you represent a specialised sales channel, then we would like to explore the possibility of setting up a sales partnership with you that could work for mutual benefit. Another possibility could be to organise special-interest tours for private groups that belong to associations or schools, or other vocational groups in your area or community. We would like to hear about any ideas you might have.
Tour Operator Partners
We use established local tour operators for our scheduled tours, and we are always on the lookout for tour operators – particularly ones that already specialise in nature and culture tourism in Asia – that we can partner with. If your tours are something we believe in, we could feature your scheduled tours in our website, or we could work close with you to forge customised tours for our private clients. We’re particularly looking for tour operators or individuals that have the aptitude to give a service in accordance with our core values.
Tour Leaders & Travel Specialists
We would like to expand our repertoire of tour leaders or travel specialists that are experts in their location and in outdoor activities in Asia. We’re particularly looking for outgoing and interesting people who are knowledgeable in outdoor allures such as bird-watching, rock climbing, trekking, mountain biking, white water rafting and so on – all to lead tours in their area. Or perhaps you have an understanding of farming and know some authentic farms where our clients can get their hands dirty on a farm; or even better you can take our clients to stay with some ethnic minorities whose culture remains intact. He has produced consultancy reports for tourist businesses who wanted to develop new products, and he has also written detailed analyses about tourism development for some of the most eminent trade publications in the world, including the periodical of the Pacific Asia Tourism Association. He knows what international tourists want, what tourist routes are likely to be successful, what works and what doesn’t, what are the whims of westerners travelling in Asia, and what will be hot in tourism in a year or two. He has particular expertise and interest in nature tourism. And he can bring all his skills and experience to bear to help you develop your tourist product and service with workable innovation, and then market your product in a way that reaches and rouses potential clients. We also have team of other freelance operatives who are experts in their particular areas, and that way we can bring together some creative minds to offer valuable consultancy in the development of tourism products and marketing, particularly in the area of ecotourism.
Custom Publishing & Marketing
Very often, guidebooks or brochures or other publicity materials are not well thought out. The ones published in China, particularly in western China, tend to be colourful but then skimpy and uninspiring in their prose. Moreover, the English prose is often inelegant and unpolished, and full of Chinese idioms translated literally, hence offering jilted reading. These publicity materials also tend to lack practicalities such as maps, addresses, phone numbers, and so on. We avoid all these pitfalls, we know our stuff – we have a track record working on international guidebooks. We know what captures the imagination of the readers, what level of practical details are needed in any given case, and what’s the correct balance of words and pictures.
