BOOKING & PAYING

We mostly cater for private groups who travel with us in itineraries that are similar to the tours featured here. Once you decide to travel with us, different processes and policies come into play depending on the type of tour you would like to join. 

Let’s first deal with the next steps for the different types of tours.

• To travel along one of the pre-set itineraries in this website in your own private group. This is the easiest option – all you need to tell us in this case is your chosen tour, your preferred travel time, and whether you would like anything changed from the default tour or not.
• To create a customised itinerary for a private group. Consult us to create your own highly customised itinerary. tour; but before writing to us, please check out relevant pages in this website so that your frame your request as clearly as possible in terms of travelling time, interests and activities.
• To join a scheduled pre-set tour. We run very few scheduled tours, and do not announce them on this website. But if you are one or two travellers and want to join up with other travellers to keep costs down, please write to us to tell us the tour you are interested in and your desired travel time - we will then see if we can hook you up with another group, or otherwise let you know your options.

After you make your tour choice, then payment policies come into effect depending on the nature of the tour, particularly which of the three processes above you would be following, and whether it’s a long tour or a short tour from our Days & Detours section. These payment policies do not always follow a regular pattern, but below is a general explanation of these policies.

Custom Tours

In tours customised for individuals or private groups, we can give you initial free consultations and jointly create an outline itinerary. Then, if you like to proceed to drawing up a detailed day-by-day itinerary and quote, you would have to pay an administrative fee of RMB3,000 or €300 - this administrative fee would then be deducted from your bill when it comes to paying for the tour.

Long Tours

If you decide to join a pre-set long tour, and we manage to find you other travellers companions, then you have to pay twenty percent of the price of the tour to secure your booking. Then, two weeks before the commencement of the journey, you have to pay an additional fifty-five percent; the rest – or twenty-five percent – is to be settled face to face when you arrive on the ground for the beginning of the travels.

Days & Detours

For these types of short tours or detours, we give free consultation to discuss and clarify all details of itinerary and quote. Also, payment arrangements are discussed individually depending on the time-span between booking and commencement of the trip.

Payment Modes

Payment is to be settled upon issuance of an invoice in each case (we send invoices via email). We can accept payment in two ways: either via Paypal or via direct bank transfer. Once you tell us which mode you prefer to use for payment, we will put the relevant details on the invoice. 

Booking Service Online

There is no provision yet to book directly through Pepper Mountains website. Due to the specialised nature of our tours, and the capabilities of a niche company that focuses on personalised journeys, please contact us once you’re interested in one of our tours, or seek a customised trip, and we will agree on everything following one-to-one correspondence.
